Well today has been jam packed, not the least the state of my PO Box , a whopping 173 LO's arrived and yesterday another brilliant 56.... Thanks Dionne, Charmaine, Ngaire Brown, Nic Howard and her NZ Scrapper Buddies, Lucy, Rachel, Margo & Nancy!! The Frog is going wild!! And we are getting down to almost below the 1000 mark, WTG ladies!!
For anyone who hasn't the foggiest what I am raving about, frogs and jammed PO Boxes, well let me explain, a few weeks ago I put an appeal on my Blog for scrappers to unite and help me create 6x6 LO's for an abused Childrens Camp held in April, I asked because we needed a huge 1600......If you are keen to help these children have precious memory books of their week at camp, so precious they are often the only photos they will have as children....then have a peek here and read what you can do to help....Southern Cross Kids Camp
I received an email from one of last years buddies...."I'm thrilled that so many expert scrapbookers are helping us buddies out this year. I enjoyed doing the books (which was definitely out of my comfort zone) but as a first time buddy with two 12 year old girls under my wings for the week I was absolutely and thoroughly exhausted come the evening when it was time to start scrapbooking. I was up to 1/2am in the morning a couple of times and running on pure adrenalin at that time to get them finished."
Lots of stuff happening that is really wonderful and hopefully I can share soon, something I can share though, This Sunday is Childrens Day and the Fiskars Blog, including their wonderful ambassadors have something special to share, they have kindly got together and are doing some wonderful stuff for SCKC, head over there on sunday for a peek.
A quick LO share, Upload for Shop and Crop and this week's theme was "Collage"
I love collage so it was a fun bit of creating! A Memory Album for my gorgeous Sons 21st, The cover turned out much better than i pictured and he loved it, which was a beautiful bonus! I created simple LO's for the inside as I wanted the focus to be on his pictures and the wonderful memories he has given us and the other LO is Ben my middle guy, looking through Joshuas photos made me realise how Ben had almost finished growing up too.....BooHoo, melancoly hits when you realize they really are no longer littlies to whom you are their everything!! Honestly sounds stupid thing to say, but it creeps up on you, one minute they are babies, toddlers, boys then suddenly their voices break and over night they seem to turn into men!
